Chicopee Visiting Nurse Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the independence and dignity of individuals and families by providing the highest quality health care and support services in the home and community.
The Chicopee Visiting Nurse Association, Inc., chartered in 1942, is an independent, voluntary not for profit home health care organization that is Medicare/Medicaid Certified.
The Chicopee Visiting Nurse Association has been named to the 2007 Home Care Elite, a compilation of the most successful Medicare certified home health care providers in the country. The annual review identifies the top 25% of agencies, ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performance. The 2007 Home Care Elite also indicates those providers who are included in the Top 100 and Top 500 providers nationwide, with the Chicopee VNA being recognized in the Top 500.
The Chicopee VNA has been reviewed by the Department of Public Health and has received a "Deficiency free" status in May of 2008. The Chicopee VNA was found to be compliant with all Conditions of Participation
